This is my go to breakfast because it’s lightening fast to prepare and fills me up til lunch time. I love to change up the toppings every morning so I’m never bored. Variety is the spice of life ?

Chia Seed Porridge Recipe

Serves: 1

Time: 3 minutes


  • 3/4 cup of oats
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup mylk

Extras to cook in: vanilla extract, cinnamon, mashed banana, cacao powder…

Toppings: fruit, nuts, seeds, granola, coconut, nut butter, dark chocolate chunks, maple syrup…


  1. Place oats, liquid, chia seeds and any extras in a jug.
  2. Microwave for 1.5 minutes, stir then microwave for 1 minute.
  3. Top with whatever you’re craving and dig in!
